Sometimes it isn't the words that the kids share but the words that come out of our own mouths. Teachers have some -isms of their own. Our minds are engaged but our mouths just won't co-operate. A friend of mine Joe Palumbo said I could share this little tidbit with you. Hope you enjoy it.
"Probably the funniest teaching moment happened to me yesterday. I was attempting to say, "We can't have any bad sets tonight." Being sick and having trouble talking with a clogged nose, what came out loud and clear, through the mic was, "We can't have any bad sex tonight!" Needless to say the entire band and staff lost it."
Thanks Joe! I understand completely! LOL
Kid-ism? What is a Kid-ism? I look at it as the infinite wisdoms that kids impart upon us everyday that cause a giggle, a chuckle and an out and out laugh. You have experienced them, repeated them and remembered them when you needed a little pick me up. In the immortal words of the late great Art Linkletter,"Kids say the darndest things!"
Moms or mom moms; Dads or pop pops are loaded down with them: potty stories, telephone conversations, Sponge Bob quips...whatever they are we keep them close to our heart. They warm us and make us smile. That is what this blog is all about. I wanted to share some of my stories with you; share a piece of my sunshine and love with you. And I hope you, too, will feel free to share yours with me.
Let's get started sharing!!!
